Message	did you make sure to run the system for a little while (so the air trapped in there can escape) and top it off again? My temp. gauge stood just about where yours is, until I topped off the fluid. The fact is not that your car's running cooler, it's that the fluid is too low to cover the sensor and what you're reading is the temperature of the air trapped, not the fluid. Just a thought...
