| 1. I was quoted 300 Euro (~330 USD) in Ireland (by Nissan) for a replacement driveshaft centre bearing. The replacement one-piece was less costly than this by far. 2. The u-joints in the Z1Motorsports one-piece driveshaft are serviceable where the u-joints in the stock driveshaft are not (you need to buy the complete assembly from Nissan). I just figured if my CB was shot, then how far behind were my u-joints. 3. The Z1Motorsports one-piece driveshaft is one half of the weight of the stock two-piece... less rotational mass… a couple of lbs shaved off… etc… I am sure that there are some who maintain the stock driveshaft is smoother at certain shaft rotational speeds etc.... perhaps this is a small price to pay for serviceability…
