The lightning is very quick.. it's already got close to 400hp and if it's the new 2001 it's even stronger. Here's a few things to keep in mind about cold weather driving. Shocks: cold = stiff Tires: cold = less traction Road: cold = less traction Engine: cold air = more hp So basically you increase your hp while decreasing your traction which will get the car out of hand quick, I recently had a similar experience coming up the ramp to work where the pavement is very slick. Luckily I had enough room to bring it back under control before bumping the curbs. The guy behind me that pissed me off cause he was so close that I couldn't see his headlights also backed off after seeing me hang the rear out... Sure makes the heart pump at 7:00 a.m. in the morning.. At least I didn't have my normal cup of Starbucks in the car with me that would of sucked...
