I have a set of hood pins that i have to use on the new hood, and wanted them black, however, sgp was unable to get me black hood pins, so i took silver in hopes to powdercoat them black. But after actually thinking about it, i realized powdercoating may not work too well and may wear down after the continual sliding of the pins to open/close the hood. So, i had the bright idea to annodize them. Anyone have opinions as to what would be more durable on the pins? im leaning toward anodizing them, but if someone thinks otherwise, please tell me why. if you have experience on how durable anodizing is on a part like this, that would be great.

For instance, if Pac-man affected kids born in the eighties, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around in darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous electronic music. |
