| Hi all I am having some retainers made from titanium. These retainers will work with the stock valve springs and the JWT valve springs. They will have a 1 week turn around and not only weigh less they will free up the valve train from any additional harmonics. For those interested in why I am using JWT single coil versus say Ferrera dual springs or etc, is because they have done some research on the harmonics that affect the valve train. The harmonics have become so drastic that in earlier versions of springs they actually found that the springs cracked. JWT has some done some good research in producing the best valve springs good for 8400 RPMS (more than most will ever really need) where there is some new harmonics being introduced. Other companies simply make off the shift products without any car specific testing. There is also some issues with the fact that dual valve springs have higher seat pressures and can cause more wear on the valve seats and valve itself.
