The long answer is, I am comfortable with the margin of safety my larger injectors conferred in not leaning my car out too much and causing detonation. I've commented many times that while my stock boost gauge may or may not be accurate, it has been very consistent. Shows seven pounds for safety boost. Goes a little higher and a little lower in the right directions with different size boost jets. With my 0.30 welding tips, and my plugs gapped down to 0.35" the boost gauge consistently hits the same spot, just above 14 pounds. I'm not "pegging" the gauge, there's still some space left at the top. So I figure for a ball park figure, I'm okay. I also love the look of a stock interior. Finally, what counts the most, my car runs GREAT. I only use 93 or 94 octane in it, and I don't do prolonged boost runs. And as I said in my toluene post, I'm looking for an excuse to rebuild my engine anyway . . .
