| What a PITA. No, I'm not asking for money.. just some clarification. If you can help explain WTF this is all about, please click my car below and e-mail me offline. OK, so I've been charging the operational fees for this site onto a personal credit card. The interest rate was cool for a promo deal, then has shot up. I was planning on using the card for 6 months and then switching to another I opened, but I'm had some credit issues (too many cards open @ $0 balance)... so I got a whopping $500 limit on it. 32 days ago I spent a day tracking down my accounts and getting most everything that was valid and unused closed according to my credit reports I got online. Everyone told me that after 30 days it should be reflected at the credit service places. Cool. So I call the credit card place I was wanting to transfer my debt to and she was asking me if I had re-run my credit history to see if everything was clear. I was like, no... that's what you're about to do when I raise my limit on this card and do a balance transfer. Then she starts telling me that goes against my credit rating if they run it. WTF is this shit? How does requesting my credit history go against my credit history???? Every CC company in America checks my crap like twice + a month to see if they can get me to sign up... but if I request my own it goes against me??? Is she retarded, or am I? The short bus isn't parked out front, so I told her whatever & hung up. So what now? I don't feel like spending the $ or time on the jackoff credit service places to request another report (does that go against my history as well???). My credit is sterling (missed payments on 2 cards like 4 years ago).. so this was kinda confusing to me a month ago when I got a card for $500 to start all this off. Should I just close this retard card and open something else elsewhere and then I don't get this deduction against myself or does it even matter??? If you know anything about this crap, I'd appreciate the info. Rent is due on the bandwidth tomorrow and I need someplace 'normal' to start charging it to. TIA ... click the car if you know please.
