one end is for the hatch glass, the other is for the power antenna. The you have the end that plugs into the stock antenna wire. I spliced the window antenna into the other side so the one plug would work for both. The prongs on the stock wire is for both antennas. One for the one in the glass, one for the power ant. So with the first antenna it's hard to say if it will work with both. it may just take the signal from the power one and leave the glass one not plugged into anyhting. Hard to tell unless you take it apart. But like I said, if you only use the power antenna you will be fine anyway so either will work....unless you plan on shaving over the power one :)
