Message	You should have known the response, but ... here are my opinions if you care for them: The EVO has better handling and braking characteristics because it is relatively lighter and has all-wheel-drive. But think of it this way ... the EVO is a newer car while the Z is at least 7 years old. The EVO has a boxer-four and the Z has a V-6. EVO is a 4-door sedan and Z a hatchback. Despite the EVO having better power-to-weight ratio, on the top end, the Z's larger displacement and aerodynamics will take over. Although it has pretty good performance characteristics, I wouldn't choose an EVO over a Z.
