:it basically implies that the MKIV only went with an inline 6 design to differ from the 300zx's V6 design.. however did the author forget that the MKIII is also inline 6?
The Supra had always come with a straight-6 since its inception. It was the Z that switched. The first 240Z's had straight-6's until the Z31, which switched over to a V-6. But that's besides the point.
