I think you're right about that. I remember the 84 Anniversary edition had wheels that looked similar, but you're probably right that they were 15" instead of 16". I really liked my 1986 Turbo Z... everyone likes to knock Z31's, but it was a good, reliable car that was a lot of fun to drive. It may have lacked the refinement of the Z32, but when it was a nice, sunny day I'd wash it, take the T-tops off and go to the shore... lots of fun. I used to get a lot of compliments about that car. People would randomly come up to me and tell me how they always liked the styling of the old 300zx's.
