Message	: anymore boost and the engine runs lean, leading to possible detonation. With bigger injectors (485 or 555) and stock turbos, 19lbs is the max, but 17lbs is recommended to preserve the life of the turbos. Every car is different, my friend. Yes, injectors are supposedly maxed out at around 15 psi. But, I can boost solid and steady 17 psi with stock injectors, pump gas, and no detonation. Of course IC's and colder plugs help as well. Any detonation fighting upgrades are beneficial. Bottom line, be smart. Check your plugs. You have to know your own car, how far it can be pushed and it's limits. Jason
