Message I have the Nismo stat, but again, what can it do for you using a stock small radiator? The main reason if any is to change out the stock radiator and get a much bigger 3" tank with more efficient cooling fins and built for higher performance driving. Given that your down south where it gets nice and hot during these months, why not go for the part that's actually doing the cooling. The thermostat is really only opening sooner, but in your case using the stock radiator, won't cool all the water/block any better by running the already normal heating range of the water temps and will still raise much faster running more power threw the block.

Also knowing that the VG motors have a flaw design in them where the water cooling passage ways back by cylinders 5 and 6, where many that do a rebuild go back and clear this passage way out. I would look more into doing all I could to help keep the temps down. The block is oil and water cooled along with your stock turbo's. The radiator pull is very, very simple. Replace the lower hose as well with an aluminum one too. Sure you know the cause and affect of not having one during high speed runs or performance driving?

So I say if anything, get the actual cooler of the system first ( radiator ) and lower aluminum hose, but while your there get the cooler thermostat. The Nismo is like $100 bucks, so not cheap. I know a few others on here have looked up a few other brands that are cheaper in price and I'm sure work just as well.

Another thing is my heater in the car ( Black one ), takes longer to actually start to get hot. I was thinking heater core going out, but again it does get hot after a few more miles of driving compared to before the thermostat change, which to me say's it's opening much sooner now and it takes longer for the motor to actually heat up. But it does heat up normal after the time.

General Specification
OEM = 76.5 degrees C
Nismo = 62 degrees C

what it looks like and it's $95.
