I flushed my engine yesterday with "Gunk Engine flush" before I changed my oil. I poured the stuff in and let the car run for about 10 minutes, occasionally keeping the idle at 2K even though it says to just let it idle. drained oil and filled with Mobil1 synthetic plus Nissan oil filter. The oil that came out was pretty black but nothing to much out of the ordinary. I was doubtfull this would provide any positive results. I took her out today and didn't notice anything different as far as around town stuff and idling, but once I hit the freeway I was surprised. Of course I didn't feel any power increase, but the turbo's seemed to spool up a lot faster than before and the engine was more responsive, more smoother. It wasn't in my head either, I am very in tune with my car and how she runs and there was definetly an improvement. So for anyone considering doing this, do it, I think it's worth it. I have 123K miles on my 92TT and was going back and forth whether to do it or not, but I'm glad I did. No oil leaks so far either.
