South Florida for a day. Granted it was a V6 model convertible, but the interior plastics are the same as any other model. Horrible tactile feel, large gaps and creeks. Oh, and it had 15 miles on it..... As long as the US builds cars with that kind of low quality and extremely poor interior plastics I will never buy one. A friend at work had a 2002 Viper that I sat in. It had the same cheap, nasty plastic feel to all of it's interior. The same feel you get in a base model Cavalier. And the same feel as a C5 Vette. Feel the interior trim of an Audi or BMW, hell even our 10 year old cars. There is NO comparision to even a brand new high end domestic car. Why can't the US put decent plastic in their cars? I dunno, perhaps because labor costs more here so they have to cut corners somewhere....
