Message It uses almost the same control unit as the Super AFC, and has a similar large, clear front panel display that can display not only actual boost levels (eliminating the need for an external boost gauge), but graphs and simulated analog and digital gauges for a number of functions, including RPM, injector pulse width and vehicle speed. Unique to the AVC-R is the ability to set boost based on RPM, vehicle speed, and gear (low boost in 1st for dragstrip launches, higher boost once you're off the line). It also features boost curve learning mode (though not "fuzzy logic," per se) to eliminate overboost, and a scramble boost mode (up or down) that runs a different boost level for a user-specified amount of time.
