no. just bolt on. it's easy. infact, it's stealth too. this suprised me some. I didn't want anything visible. Only about 1/4 of the braket is even visible. Paint it to match the car and it will look stock.
so this kinda suprised me. I installed it myself using a single #10 socket and a #10 open end wrench. It took all of 2 minutes... maybe 3.:Can a difference in braking be felt?
see, this is what got me. I didn't expect it to be as big a difference as it was. It really is more noticable then stainless steel brake lines, like guapo said.
For the money, it is a worthy upgrade. Braking has a little more life in it, now that I can 'feel' it more.
