Stillen recommends "liquid horsepower" which I absolutely nothing about. There are some solvents that can remove reaction layers from the converter material, but that's an awful lot of hassle - seems easier to just not add octane booster? Just my opinion here. If someone wanted to know of a solvent that safely "cleans" the converter material, I could find it. SS
