| Unless someone beat the car to death and didn't change the oil properly or didn't allow to cool turbos after a hard run (before turning off the car) the turbos on these cars last a long time. When I was looking for a car I saw a bunch that had 150,000+ and the turbos still worked fine. find a car where the owner kept the maintenance records. That helps a bunch. Don't replace the engine. These engines last forever, it's just all the little parts around the engine (sensors, wiring harness, etc). Check to make sure it was not wrecked. Make sure it boost to proper psi (9.5 psi) Make sure rotors are not warped Find a car that has been well taken care of. Even if it has 100k (mine did), with records. save several thousand for repairs you might run into. good luck
