Message Hey guys - I was wondering if someone could help me out here with some answers - I'm a newbie and ready to purchase my first Z (TT, of course) - upgrading from a kick-a$$ prelude - but now I'm ready for more speed...

1. What do you guys think about 93's, 94's? I know 95 is probably the best year, but if it's out of my price range, I may have to go with something a year or 2 older.

2. At what mileage are stock turbos typically replaced? Like, if I buy a car at 60K miles, can I expect to replace the turbos fairly soon?

3. When does the clutch normally go out, under normal conditions?

4. Could you guys give me a checklist of what to check for - things that are specific to the Turbo Z's (i.e. check turbos, make sure intercooler doesn't leak, etc).

5. What are your guys' experience w/ TT's that are over 100K miles? Makes sense to buy one or should I get one with lower mileage to avoid potential probs?

6. What if I buy a '91/92 and swap out the motor with a 40K motor from Japan - will this be good insurance against future breakdowns?

7. Finally - I need opinions on how much I should be paying for a 93, 94, and 95 TT with say, 80K miles or less.

Thanks very much, in advance :)
