| I searched around a lot and went with the cheapest reputable company. They told me the first year would be harsh with my new Z but after that my rates would drop. I got my renewal the other day, one year absolutly clean( no tickets, no claims ), and to my surprise my insurance went up $600/year. I called the company... 'due to increased claims and a higher volume of claims in your statistical group your insurance went up' Talked to some people and they say their insurance just keeps getting more and more expensive each year despite their age or how long they have had their liscense. For the record, I am 22, have had my license a few years, no accidents. I have full coverage with $1000 dollar deductable and have the Z at 8000km/year pleasure vehicle. I pay about $5500 canadian a year in insurance.
