Well, I am not sure if anyone cares about this but it kinda hit home base w/ me because I am a "risk taker" and im sure quite a bit of you are as well on here. Anyway, a close friend of mine and I were supposed to go down to our beach house in NJ this past weekend to ride dirtbikes in the Bellplain state forest. I could not make it. So I find out that he was riding w/ a mutual friend and got his front tire of his CR250 stuck in a rut while he was powering through the trails. He got thrown off his bike and into a tree. Well, he hit in such a way that his spine was broke in two. If any of you are from NJ im sure you know how deep the woods go and how easily you can get lost for hours. Well, his riding buddy went to go get help and got lost and took him 2.5 hours to find anyone. They had air rescue searching for him and that alone took a solid hour. Meanwhile my friend is laying fully conscious in the woods paralyzed waiting to airlifted out. I just got home from seeing him. Its horrible to see anyone like this....he is paralyzed from jus below his belly button. No more legs/no more sex. Its rough..he had a lot going for him too. Just makes me think..I was told after a bad motorcross wreck that I was 2mm from never walking again. I have broken my back, tailbone, hip, both ankles and one wrist. But nothing compares to how I saw him in this contraption that spins to keep his blood flowing. Anyway, had to vent just got home from the hospital. Later
