| What exactly does the "all columns" radio button toggle in Search? I would assume it would look for the search term(s) you enter in the "message", "subject" and "author" parts of an archived post and return it as a hit if you serch term(s) was located in any of those three locations? So, "greddy my91z" as a search term should return all posts made by me with the word greddy in the tittle or message body, correct? Well, if I enter "greddy" as a search term toggling "all columns" radio button in the "General" forum I get a buttload of returns(4,611 actually), with one of them being my response to pbphilly a little while ago. Now, if I use Search again and enter "greddy my91z" as the search term, toggle the same "all columns" radio button and toggle the "all words" logic radio button you only get three hits. None of the three hits are the post I just made with "my91z" as the author and "greddy" in the message title. If you do the exact same search again("greddy my91z" in general, all columns) BUT toggle "any words" you get 8,819 hits, with one of them being the post I made with "greddy" as the subject earlier. Same thing happens when using "greddy guapo" as a search term(thought maybe you guys didn't like me and banned my SN from Search, hehe just kidding). Also, this may or may not be related to what is happening, but if you enter "my91z PE" in "general" search, "all columns", "all words" you get only(lol) 68 hits, with most of them(61) from when I had "PE whore" tacked onto my SN. Otherwise, the last hit it returns for "my91z PE" is from last year. Now, if you do another search, "General", "all coumns", "all words" and just enter "PE" as the search term you get 1,194 hits with half a dozen of them on the first page belonging to me from just the last couple of months. I think this is significant because we often tell someone to use Search for a term, say "my91z diff bushing" to find info on something. Well, if you enter "my91z diff bushing" in "Tecnhical" search, my old posts with all my hints do not come up. Only 3 posts are returned and lord knows I've posted a lot more than that about those damn diff bushings.....
