| If anyone saw that 8 car + 1 18wheeler wreck on 45-S Friday evening around 5:30...that was me. I was the Z that was under 2 other cars. So I was driving home after work and I see the cars in front of me braking rapidly. I hit my brakes fast - while I'm slowing down I hear the 1st wreck about 4 cars in front of me and then I hear another with smoke and glass going everywhere. I knew it was gonna be close but somehow I managed to stop about 2-3 feet in front of the last wreck. Just as I get excited for stopping in time an Explorer slams into me going about 40mph. He shoved my car underneath a Hyundai Elantra and some Kia jeep thing. The elantra was resting half on my hood and half on the 18 wheeler. I think they cited 2 of the other cars in the wreck. I was the 2nd to last car in it. I'm really just hoping the guy in the Explorer has insurance. The highway was shut down for over 2 hours. I'd estimate there were 16+ ppl in the cars and amazingly nobody went to the hospital. The thing that really amazed me was that my airbags didn't deploy - I think since my car was so low and went under the others. I'll know soon if the car is totaled and how much I can buy the wreck back for. If anyone needs any of the major parts on my car - let me know. Please dont ask for small things yet. I should have pictures later this week.
