Message	each runner expands in the same direction, and puts little additional stress on the manifold to engine flange, the 300zx manifold expands in toward the center of the flange (cylinder 3 or 4) this causes the cracking. 304SS will expand, if the manifold is designed to expand, it should not crack, Greddy designed theirs after the stock manifold, BUT the stock iron manifold does not expand.
