Message Car:
A zcar, NA or TT.

Brakes:
@$100.oo worth of Hawk Blue brake pads (Track ONLY! do not ever use these pads on the street)
$10.oo worth of brake cooling ducts.
$2.50 worth of zip ties to install the ducts.
$20.oo worth of Motul 600 fluid, fresh bleed before the event, fresh bleed after the event.
(speedbleeders, but not mandatory)
(stainless brake lines, again, not mandatory)

Helmet:
Yes.

Tires;
Fresh to half worn street tires.

Long pants:
Yes.

Long shirt:
Yes.

Gasoline:
Yes.

Willingness to learn:
Yes.

In conclusion, dropping less then $150 will have your car prepped for the road course. The car in this condition will easily out perform YOU.
Once you get faster, you can drop another $50.oo to up the brake performance by removing the duct shields (free), and adding the stainless lines.
Big brake kits are not necessary. MANY people on this forum have ridden with me on the track (in the instructor/racecar run group) and have experienced stock braking power.

and uh, tracking a car is tits. really. flat out tits. hard nips and all.
