Message Best things to do are these

1) Intake
2) Cat Back
3) ECU
4) New Plugs
5) Synthetic Oil like Royal Purple, Amsoil, or Mobile 1

Then if you want you can do Under Drive pulley best if you do when you are doing your 60K or similar service. Else its alot of work to do this mod. Gains are there but PITA level is high.

At this point brakes are a needed upgrade

Stage I brake upgrade would be

1. Xdrilled or slotted Rotors
2. Stainless steel brake lines
3. Metal Masters or Similar brake pads
4. Motul 600 or similar Dot4 fluid

I really can't say much about real big brake upgrades because I don't have them. Also I am really not sure whats going on with Brembo now that AP Racing has purchased them. Now if someone want donate me some big brake kits for evaluation I would turn them away :-)

Next after you clutch gives out because of the first few mods then do the following

1. 3" Down Pipes
2. 3" Test Pipes
3. Lighten Flywheel
4. New Clutch.
5. Replace O2 sensors, rear main seal, change trans, and diff fluids.
6. Drive Shaft
7. Short Throw shifter

(I didn't get a short throw shifter but I would saved on labor if I had done at that point)

Then after you are running those for a while and you want to dial in some more power.

Go with a
a boost controller like an AVC-R


After that you are at Stage V and all upgrades become costly. I did the drive shaft because its was cheap in comparison to other things also I made myself a deal that I would not pass stage V until I finish the exterior, interior, and suspension of the car. Which should keep busy as I try to decide what to get if only Tein would sell the HAs for $800 instead of $1500 bucks :-)

My next upgrade is going to be an AFC and ITC to see if I can break 400RWHP. After that I am going after Intercoolers and Dual Pop.


Then after that I will be forced to take the next big step which is replace injectors, turbos, exhaust manifolds, cams and new plenum. I may or may not get pistons, rods, and etc but it really depends on turbos. It doesn't matter this way to long term for me right now.. I and so far none of my lottery tickets seem to have paid off yet :-)
