SInce your amp is turning on and off, I would first suspect your Remote line... Although you said you checked all of your connections, I wouldnt hesitate to trace that remote line to see if it is shorting against the body somewhere, or just no quite connected.... To test if the remote wire is the cause, bridge(touch both with single conductive element) the terminals for the 12v+ and the Remote. This should cause the amp to turn on regardless of your IGN switch position. keep this bridged connection as to let the amp stay on and drive around for a while and listen to music to see if the amp stays on. If the problem still persists, you have a loose/shorted 12v+ connection somewhere along the line...
