Message OK I FINALLY got the hardpipes back from the powdercoating shop after a total of 2 weeks. Just as I'm finishing up the install, THIS happens...

in case you can't tell what's wrong, the small "nub" that the service manual says is the "air duct to right side air galley" broke off. I tried my best to remove the metal remnant of the nub from the hole, but this thing has to have a flange inside of the pipe. I couldn't get it to move at ALL. I'm debating whether I should disconnect that large plastic hose at the front of the engine, hook up a shop-vac and drill the fitting out, or if I should just plug that fitting up and re-route it somewhere. I realize this fitting comes off the pipe BEFORE the turbos, so I'm assuming I shouldn't re-route to somewhere AFTER the turbos. Any ideas, insight would be greatly appreciated.
TIA..
