Hi all, picked up a 93 TT 5spd the other day and finally got a chance to really ring her out. Awesome car! I've got a question though (I tried the search but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for). When the turbos first spool the power is fantastic. Great mid range.....but once the car reaches about 5k rpms, it really seems to die? Boost stays put at right about 10 psi (hard to tell with the stock gauge), but the strong top end I've had with other turbo cars seems to be missing? I thought maybe the clutch was slipping, but the rpms don't indicate that. Is this typical of the Z? It really feels like a slipping clutch, but I don't think it is...I just don't have any experience with this car yet to know if it's normal. It also breaks up a little around 6k (I'm assuming better plugs will fix this). Any help would be appreciated.
