:on the tongue (front) of your trailer. that makes the trailer a lot less likely to sway back and forth, and you also want the weight pushing down on the hitchball, not pulling up on it. sounds like a good way to prevent dings, but it could also crack some nice jspecs too tho... I couldn't agree more on the location of the car. on a dual axle flat bed trailer, we found that having the front wheels just over (or slightly behind) the rear most axle of the trailer works well. (when the car is facing rearwards) It really does depend on the trailer length to do this. I suppose I shouldn't have mentioned it since it's not a correct answer on all setups. thanks!
