:there are those who mod because it's cool (97% of people i've met on ttnet or see in general). not because they believe in what they are doing (see 'tattoos' or wearing 'ocean pacific', 'polo', etc...etc... trying to stay hip to what the magazines tell them to do).
:then there are those who mod because they want a better handling car thats very capable on the dragstrip, roadcourse, autocross, freeway, schoolzone, parking lot.
:they track their car at least once a year, hit an autocross or two, and generally just flat out enjoy their car.

Do you honestly believe that the vast majority of TT.net'ers are modding their cars becuase it's a fad? I would think that to be more true to Honda's and the such. If what you say is true, then I feel bad for this world in general. Sure, it's would be nice to have a nice sounding exhuast and all, but in the end... I would hope that most people do it for themselves and not becuase they care what others think.My 2 cents
