Message	with customers. 1. Be up front and don't put hard dates in promises if you are not sure. Because if that date passes and nothing happens... 2. If there is going to be a delay which always happens, communicate this to the customer. Customers are more understanding when you let them know what to expect. They will cut you some slack for communicating their shipping status. Put yourself in the customer's shoes . Avoiding phone calls and not following through, like tracking numbers raises the steam level.
