Message I've had this conversation with many many people on what should be thier first bike, 2nd ect ect...And as DutchZX and Big gixx said, a Busa is definatly not a first bike type of bike. 1st look at the style of the bike, its a 1300cc bike. This is the equivelant of on your 16th birthday your dad buying you a racing helmet and a Saleen S7, and saying have fun. In a month or two you'd be in the ER for slaping it around a tree.
A first bike is something that you can master, not something that you can grow into. With a busa its A)primarily a straight line bike....so most people dismiss it right there (Stock suspension totally blows for tight corners). But on top of that, its fucking 1300cc's. I don't know how big of a guy you are, but thats a BIG BIKE.
If you are like myself and are 6'4 250, then obviously a R6 isn't going to be a feasible 1st bike. So look into something like a GSXR 600. And no the 750 is NOT a first bike, its a HELLVA lot of bike.

What I'm mainly trying to say is that like all of the other guys on here that are going to tell you from thier personal experience (I layed down my 2 week old Ducati 750 S/S) you always drop your first bike. Its a stat, its like 96% of something to that effect.

We just don't want to see a posting of you being put into the ER becuase you had this crazy ass bike and you were first learning how to corner and you accidently sneezed when you were low and twitched your wrist and hurtled yourself off the edge of the mountain.

My long rant is over.
