Subject	Had a fun run on Highway 9 last night (Saratoga, CA)

Message	It was my first time there, and I definitely will go again! It's a long twisty 2-lane road (one lane each way) in Saratoga going towards Santa Cruz. My friend who has a WRX invited me to go with him, and man that drive felt so long!! It was actually about 7-8 miles to the top, but there were non-stop turns and gear-shifts, I was actually tired after the drive! Unfortunately it was quite a pleasant experience for my friend. He understeered and crashed his WRX to the side of the road at the 4th or 5th turn, messing up the whole passenger side. I was behind him and the first thing I saw was his punctured gas tank. Gas was pouring out, and I could even smell it while still in the car. We finally had it towed back, and he was pretty upset, especially about his 2 month-old advan RC2 wheels that were scratched. I felt sorry about his car too, but at least he's ok. Anyway, we bay area Z'ers should get together and cruise there someday! (Better go before sunset though...)
