Message	I've shipped a differential before. I can't remember the exact cost, but I believe it was around $60. Why not ask the person to do shipping freight collect or something? It might cost a little bit more, but it shouldn't be as much as he is saying. Also, if you can ship to/from a commercial address (if you can receive packages where you work) the cost should go down.
