Message Original turbos, engine has excellent seal.. Had to replace a lot of standard wear/tear items such as the altenator, water pump, spark plugs, belts, timing belt, front shocks, tires, exhaust. The only thing that was unexpected that went out was the automatic transmission. The rest of the car is good and strong.

I've been told that TT's can go for 300k. Use synthetic oil, change the water pump with the timing belt and belt tensioner and run the car for 1-2min EVERY time you reach your destination BEFORE you turn it off. This will really save the turbos. Stage 2 or 2+ is noticable increase in h.p. but no strain on engine. Stage 3 is VERY noticable and should be no problem.
