today. I get to the community car show, I figure for $10 I mise well enter. Then I find out that the judges are the people who enter, so you vote for your car in your class then you vote for other cars in other classes. This is where it really gets good...there were 26 different classes.

Wild Wild Wild Now, there are all the categores and sub categores, for each category they originally had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies(I say originally because at the end there weren't enough people to enter to break even, so they only gave out 1st place trophies). I figure I would enter the Import Student Mild Category, which I had, at least I thought. It ends up the winnner is an old style blue eclipse with a BIG BIG VERY BIG black fiberglass wing on it. It is to say the least, the ugliest car in the show, and it beat me and my friend who has a honda civic, that is NOT riced out. All he has on it is a very small wing, that almost looks stock, altezza's, and some chromework under the hood. Some classes only had one entry so it was an automatic first place, and the student import wild had no entries so one kid pulled out a remote control benz and entered it, needless to say he won a first place trophy for a remote control car. It has to be possibly the poorest car show I have ever been to, and it completely ruins the inspiration to go to more car shows, how can a remote control car get a trophy? I'll post a followup picture of the car that won in my class.
