rather than on the outside. It is way to easy to pound a 12 point socket over most "locks" and they are easily removed. I haven't seen a lock yet that I couldn't remove with a few common tools. The only ones that seem to work are those with a free-spinning outer casing around the lug/lock. They are a traditional style lock but the have a rotating outer section that prevents the socket prom being hammered over it. It will just spin while the threaded portion remains intact. Just FYI...
