| Amazing - if you saw my message from the other day, I drove my Z into a puddle during some recent flooding in Ft. Lauderdale, and thought for sure it was history. Went down to the Z place this AM and they were all in a state of shock. They said they took off the throttle bodies and about a gallon of water poured out of the intake manifold. Then they took out the spark plugs and cranked it, and said water shot all over the garage. Then just for fun they put the plugs back in and tried to start... said it purred like a kitten. They were completely baffled, said this was the first one they had ever seen NOT get destroyed, much less seem to be just fine. They had 2 other NAs in the garage that were both scrap. They attributed this to 1) the fact that I was at idle when it happened, and 2) the fact that the TT engine doesn't have a very high compression ratio. Changing all the fluids, will probably drive for a week or so and then change the oil again. Assuming the car feels fine - any other advice on things I should keep an eye out for??? Whew.
