Message and I believe it would be the 1st thing you should warn people about.

***VERY IMPORTANT***

If anyone's planning on doing this on their own, Ash's instructions are terrific, but you should be extremely careful when sanding or compounding any of the car's edges. On curvy surfaces like the fenders or the hood, all you have to watch out for is the pressure you apply on the sandpaper. But on sharp edges like the curve where the rear quarter panel meets the back end of the car, it really takes a steady hand and some experience to not sand all the way through the clear coat.

There's a reason some guys charge 150$+ to do this for you. Ash, your job came out great, but you have a little more experience with general manual stuff. I really dont suggest any of you guys venture into this unless you get a little practice on a beater beforehand. I tried this sandpaper thing exactly as Ash described on my old Corsica, and I thought it came out great, until a few months later, all the clear coat started peeling off at the sharp edges.

George

PS: Your instructions are dead on Ash, this is how the pros really do this =)
