Message	If you had the owner's manual and read it, it'll give you specifics. I do have the manual, but I don't recall what it says. My Lexus says switch the overdrive OFF in city driving and ON when driving at highway speeds of 50 MPH or over. 50 MPH isn't an absolute crossover point either. If you are accelerating moderately, then it would be a possible place of switching to overdrive. But if you're flooring it at WOT, then overdrive shouldn't be turned ON until a higher speed. Understand what overdrive is and you will answer your own question.
