Message I looked at a few turbo MR2's a while back, and one thing that stuck out in my mind is that the MR2's interior is just flat out boring....very generic looking...did not feel or look sporty. I am 6' and I fit fine in it...guess I would be considered "normal" build. My brother is almost 6'4" and he fits fine in the previous generation(84-89), so I don't think fitting will be a problem unless you're larger than average.

Both car's engine are a bitch to get at things, but leaning over the body to work on a mid engine car is a complete bitch...your back will not forgive you.

Both cars have huge potential as far as going fast in a straight line, but I think you will be more happy with an MR2 if you're looking for a car that has superior road feel.

As far as looks, the Z just looks better right out of the box...though I have seen some sweet looking MR2's with body kits.

As far as "sex appeal"...the Z is a classier, more luxurious car...

No one here can say that twin turbo z's are not expensive to maintain...don't know about a MR2, but I imagine stock those cars are pretty reliable.

Test drives are the only answer...
