Message	Since you aren't really going to be tracking the car and such and you just want something with some "oomph", then you might as well have a comfortable, stylish car. The Twin Turbo Z can do that for you quite well. You could probably pick up a clean Z for around $11K or so and spend another $2K with the basic mods (exhaust, intake, chip, etc) and have the perfect car for what you want. And it's something you and the wife can hop into and take a long cruise in too. The MR2 is a bit small for that and while it can be made crazy fast, it doesn't seem like the right car for you.
