But mike, your bearing failed because of poor oil flow, to the farthest cylinder. Now obviously this is an oil delivery issue. Just clean and maby port if possible and find a high volume pump and all your problems will be solved quick and easy. And when they put the motor back together, leave some more space, you need more tolerance. These are my dad's suggestions (35+ years fixing cars, and building motors)

Then fire that mother up, rev it to at least 5000 rpm and then stick your finger into the hole on the back of the turbo. If the turbine grinds your finger down, then your turbo is working. If your finger gets ground off farther than the second knuckle, then your turbos are good for at least another 60k miles! Don't forget to check both sides." -I am Z-ing Double |
