Message	I would suggest removing it simply because it will be less parts to have problems from (boost leaks suck). It will not interfere with the ability of this intake system to perform so if you didn't feel like pulling it out, you wouldn't have to. The only thing that could screwup this design would be if you tied something into the pipe between the "X" and the MAS itself. I dont see why anyone would do anything like that anyway.
