Message	fix and the clock still did not operate 100% of the time. The surface mount resistors are a little tricky to get off. Use flux to spread the heat and pry up gently while applying heat. Make sure you read the FAQ, and you can always practice on some circuit board that you don't need (try an old radio that you are about to throw away?).
