read my FAQ on shift points. If you look at the engine as 1 dimentional (gear), then yeah, stopping down after 6500 is fine, but it's not a single gear setup. You've got more power at the top of 3rd then you will at the bottom of fourth.. even with it falling in most cases, etc. This is all based on if you want maximum accleration.
