Message	It is several pounds lighter than the 1-piece steel, but the steel is still lighter than stock. So you get the benefit of less rotational mass in the drivetrain, just not as much. I don't think they are recommending the aluminum ones as much anymore because there is a member that has broken several. He was dragging a high-HP Z though with slicks if I remember properly.
