Message	probably not worth the time and effort to put in a claim and it will likely be less than your deductible. You could take pictures of the pothole and send a complaint with the invoice for repairs to the municipality responsible for that stretch of road and see if they will repair the problem and make restitution to your friend - but this will likely take a fair amount of time and effort.
